Re: No English in game

@LIVE4MINT  Did you previously have access to English or not?  Some versions of Sims 4 are language-locked, and that's by design.  You could in theory get EA customer support to replace your current version with the global version, which includes English, but It might take multiple tries to get a support rep who's willing to help.

If you previously had access to English but don't now, that's a known issue with its own master thread, so please let me know.

@LIVE4MINT  Like I said, you may be able to get an EA customer support rep to remove the language-locked version from your account and add the global version instead.

Or you can install the game through Steam, which only offers the global version.  You'd need to uninstall the EA App version first.  Afterwards, you could install your packs through the EA App, and they'd work with the Steam base game.

@LIVE4MINT  That's unfortunate, but this issue might be resolved at some point, so check back later if you want.

I do think you should be able to play without the Epic launcher running in the background, at least after the first launch of Sims 4 after installing the Epic-owned packs.
