My characters keep intensely glitching. I can still play the game (move characters and move/use objects), but this glitching keeps happening. I've restarted my computer, taken out all my mods, updated all my mods, and repaired the game multiple times, but it keeps happening. Even if I create a new save file, it still glitches. Please help :(
KyliePelican Did you remove your entire Mods folder? If not, please do so now. Please also let me know whether you've ever installed ReShade or any other mod-like software that goes into the game's program files, even if you removed it later.
Please provide a dxdiag as well. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
puzzlezaddict All mods have been removed. I have also never installed reshade, or anything else that goes into the program files. Here is the dxdiag:)
KyliePelican I don't see anything obviously wrong in your dxdiag, but there's clearly an issue with graphics rendering at least some of the time. Do you play with fairies, and if so, do they have custom or glowing tattoos? I don't just mean custom content but anything you designed yourself, or anything that glows. If so, please remove the tattoos, and if that doesn't help, test with a non-occult sim with no tattoos.
If this doesn't apply, or the human sim is also affected, do you run other demanding games, or could you test one or two? I'm wondering whether there's an issue with the graphics card overall. It's not common in a GPU this new, but it can happen.
