Re: SDX error, white sim portraits, corrupted save, etc.

So before the update I made sure all my mods were removed, I only use Twisted Mexi's mods so it was just the TOOL mod and BetterBuildBuy. I updated the game on Tuesday and haven't been able to play since. When I opened it up, everything appeared normal at first, but then the game couldn't retrieve a Sims Delivery download, and all my worlds said "a sim can't move into a lot that isn't residential". I repaired the game with all the packs still installed and reopened it but now my saves and gallery aren't showing up. I then took out my saves folder and tray folder, did another repair and restarted it one more time. Now the game is crashing after it loads into the main screen and still isn't able to retrieve the Sims Delivery download. So then I uninstalled it and made sure to clear every file on my PC that was related to the sims except my saves and tray folder in the event they weren't corrupted, but I opted not to add them back in yet until I resolve the crashing issue. So after reinstalling just the base game and running in compatibility mode, its still crashing and broken. None of my other games through the EA app are having issues. I also have the Sims 3 and MySims downloaded and they both run without issues. In order to reinstall the Sims 4 I have to force close the EA app and then start it back up. Again, neither the Sims 3 nor MySims are causing or experiencing any issues, it's just the Sims 4. I'm at a loss here. I've also updated my graphics and ran the game as administrator. It's totally broken. If anyone has any idea of what I could do next please respond to this post.
