Re: Sims 4 audio and game glitching - nothing fixes it

@DanteMirma143  Did you ever try playing using only the speakers on your laptop, with nothing else plugged in?  If not, please do so now.  Disconnect or turn off your Bose headphones, then restart your computer before opening the game.  Please test with nothing else running on your computer, just Sims 4 and the EA App.

If that doesn't help, please right-click the sound icon in the lower-right corner of the screen and post a screenshot of what you see there.  Let me know what changes, if anything, when you look with the game open (you can use windowed mode) and with nothing running.

Weirdly I was able to play today with the sound muted, and didn't have the glitch issues that made the game completely unplayable before.

I never use the bluetooth speakers when I'm playing. I just removed them from my devices list and the jumping was less of an issue in the loading music/options screen, but the gameplay noises repeat themselves still - every noise a sim makes plays twice, every click noise plays twice, etc. Not sure if i"m imagining it, but playing with sound on makes the game jumpy, but muted it seems to be okay?

Nothing has changed in the sound options when right clicking - is the volume mixer what you want a screenshot of or another setting? It's only system sounds and the sims as options.
