Re: Sims 4 crashes on startup

im having the same problem the first person was can you help me. My Sim will load up but then freezing and the loading screen and the sim music starts to play

Hi @dpike3

are you using custom content or mods in your game ?

a lot of custom content/mods is outdated and needs updating.

Try removing everything and see if it then loads.

If it does, narrow down which one it could be,

I would just like to thank you! I was having the same problem as the OP and I found this forum when doing some google searching. I reset the game to factory settings and now it's working. Thank you!
