Re: Sims 4 save files not showing

@brileah11  You can simply delete the .ver0 from the most recent save, and the game should be able to load it.  These are the backup copies for a given save: the data from the last five times you saved before the most recent one.  (It looks like Slot_00000002.save itself was deleted somehow.)

This goes for any save with a .verx on the end, but if you recover another backup, be sure to rename it so it doesn't conflict with an existing save.  For example, if you recover the .ver1 copy, you'll need to rename it to Slot_00000004.save or higher.

Hi, I was having a similar problem, The saves were there but not showing up at all. The instructions helped to retrieve most of the saves all but the most recent new game from the last 3 days. I have deleted the version 0 from the folder but no luck. There was doubles from a previous slot 5 and I had deleted those also. I played last around noon. I have attached a screenshot of the files. The others have copies/doubles as well and it does not impact them.

@VickiT82430  The two highlighted files shoud have a .save extension rather than being labeled Slot_00000005 with nothing else in the name.  The files that end in .verx are backups, and you could delete that .verx extension and renumber the saves (so they have unique numbers), and they'd also be available to load in-game.

If this doesn't help, please list the path to the user folder Sims 4 is reading, as seen in-game.  Here's how to find it:
