- I’ve repaired the game in Origin and it made no difference, I’ve just deleted the local thumb cache thing so I’ll see if it’s still the same.
Okay it didn’t work lol
- crinrict8 years agoHero+Is this on a fresh game as well or just your existing one ?
- I thought that making a new save wouldn’t do anything bc it only happens with randomly generated townies but I’ll see if it makes a difference
- crinrict8 years agoHero+Would be important to know if it's a general issue or related to a certain save game.
- Okay so I made a new save and the same thing happens, but it doesn’t happen with aliens
- crinrict8 years agoHero+Could you post a picture ?
here u go
- crinrict8 years agoHero+Can this particular Sim be found in the gallery ?
When you renamed the folder, did you put anything back from your old one or test with the fresh folder and fresh save ? - The sim isn't on the gallery she's just one of the children of my sims. I took out my Sims 4 folder and I ran the game and afterwards I added back in my saves, mods and tray files. Maybe I should've made a new save in the refreshed game before I added everything back in.
- But like I would have to wait a sim day or more for the game to create random townies by itself because all original townies that EA already placed in the worlds are fine
- crinrict8 years agoHero+Have you been using a no-eyelash mod ?
Is it just the toddlers ?
I would rename the folder again. then start a new game and test if you still have the issue. if it's all good, you can start adding back your save (nothing else).
If you just put your files back after renaming, it defeats the purpose of the whole thing. Renaming is to test if the issue still occurs on a fresh folder. - Actually I do use a no eyelash mod, I'll see if that's what's causing everything. It isn't just toddlers and I get that I might've done the refreshing folder thing wrong but I didn't actually rename anything so maybe we''re talking about different things? I'll try again if it turns out it isn't related to the eyelash mod. Thank u 🙂

Here's detailed instructions: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
- Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
- Tray Folder
- Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
- Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
- Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
- Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
- Okay so I put my saves back in afterwards and the toddlers face was still gone, but the faces of the other toddlers, that had just been aged up. were fine so what should I do?
- crinrict8 years agoHero+Can you try taking the faulty toddler into CAS and changing his face features ? Maybe that puts him back to normal. Otherwise I would just delete the faulty toddler and go on without him.
