@UltimoMocha Are you still using a clean Sims 4 folder, as in, you renamed the old one and haven't added any content to the new one? If not, please try that again, and continue to use a clean folder while troubleshooting.
Try disabling Origin in-game: hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.
If that doesn't help, try forcing the game to launch in windowed mode: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options, enter -w in the command line box, and save.
No it didn't work, now its back to saying "The Sims 4 has stopped working"
Its also using a fresh Sims 4 folder as you suggested as well as forcing it into windowed mode.(Origin in game has been disabled too)
Never Mind it worked!
