Sims 4 City Living - no "Rental Residential" available in dropdown.

Hello,

I bought City Living today and, after it installed, went to convert a Residential lot in Oasis Springs into a Rental Residential to build an apartment. However, Rental Residential does not exist on the dropdown.

Additionally, I'm unable to select "Rental Residential" on the dropdown list within the downloadable player-made content menu as well.

Existing threads discussing this problem seem to solve it by deleting mods. I do not, and have never, used mods. I can send screenshots proving this. I repeat, I have no mods, this problem does not stem from mods. I don't even have a "localthumbnailcache" folder.

Validating my files didn't work.

Thanks for any help. This is deeply angering.

Do you have 'For Rent' EP? Residential Rental Lot type is the available content in 'For Rent' EP.

Ahah! Thank you. Multiple friends had told me that "City Living" was the one that introduced apartments and other help forums gave me the same idea... I'll have a word with those friends - they're probably earnestly confused themselves. Thank you dearly for your time <3 I hope anyone else having trouble sees this and is helped as well.

Well they were not wrong. Cty living and Eco lifestyle both has apartments, but they are a different type and have restrictions. The residential rental lot type was introduced in For Rent, where you can build apartments or even houses and be the landlord.
