@Kayla-nova Either rename the Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts to something else (it can even be "The Sims 4 old," just whatever you want), or move the folder to your desktop. The game won't be able to find the folder whether it's removed or named and will therefore spawn a new folder in its place, one with no content. The point is to see whether you get the same error in the new folder and then go from there.
@Kayla-nova Did you try the other suggestions in the other thread? Are you getting exactly the same error as before, or something else?
@Kayla-nova When you say you were able to make it work, does that mean you got around the error? If so, you don't need to do anything else. If not, please let me know what antivirus you use, if any.
I've tried everything on this thread and the other one. Ive unsynced and synced one drive finally just got rid of it. Took out my mods folder,tray,custom music, saves. Didn't have this issue prior to this last update I just want to play my game. I've restarted and repaired my game I e been trying to figure this out since about 9pm and it's now 140am I'm so sick of all the changes and programs. If you could help that would be great.
@TigerReesePieces Have you tried moving the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop? The game would create a new folder the next time it loaded, and you might be able to download the SDX content into that folder.
If that doesn't help, please create a new admin Windows account and test there. Make it a local account, as in, don't sign into Microsoft, and don't sync with any other services. This wouldn't fix the issue in your current account; it's just to get more information about the underlying issue.
Yes I did move the whole folder out as well on to my desktop. When you say don't sign into any services do you mean sign out of Microsoft and my chrome accounts? Nevermind I reread that slower and will try that too with the accounts and then I will see what happens and let you know.

@TigerReesePieces Your dxdiag lists a number of Windowd update failures. While these shouldn't directly influence SDX downloads, there could be a common underlying issue, and at any rate, it's a good idea to clean up those errors. So please run a couple of basic checks on your Windows system files:
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards. Then test with a(nother) clean Sims 4 folder.

So the second had some corrupt files about to restart my computer fingers crossed 🙂
So no additional updates I did start a new folder and i even uninstalled origin and tried through the EA App same error
@TigerReesePieces If you use a third-party antivirus, please try disabling it, at least long enough to test. If that helps, you can try setting exceptions for Origin.exe and TS4_x64.exe. Also, if you do use a third-party program, please let me know which one; I'd like to see whether you and the other affected players have some software in common.

Here again, if it helps, you can reenable it and set the relevant exceptions, but it's important to test with it completely disabled first.
I dont use any third party software for anti-virus just windows security and my controlled folders are turned off.
@TigerReesePieces Can you try using your phone as a mobile hotspot? (Make sure it's using data, not your home wifi.) If there's an issue with your network, this should help. And if you'd prefer not to use your phone's data, you can take your laptop to a location with public wifi and try it there.
I did this and the game fully broke. It says that the game has no memory to run now..
