Re: Sims taking forever to "download"

  • Does it move at all or is it stalled ?
  • If you bought the download version, the cost for downloading depend on your data plan. That's nothing EA has in it's hand. 
  • You can try pausing the download and restarting. That sometimes makes it go faster
  • Not if you bought the download version. If you buy the disc one, you can install it from disc.You can try if you can still get a refund for the download version and then buy the disc one in a store.

    Don't bother buying it in the store.  You are still going to have to update through Origin everytime you turn around.  I'm sick of Origin.

    No, there's no legal way to play without Origin.

    This is how it works for all EA Games and a lot of games are online only nowadays.
