And China is not listed for Asia. Wonder if it's all other countries.

Thank you so much for this list. It may be under All other countries, together with UK and Ireland at September 5. I will try again on Sept 5, and if it works then, I'll mark your answer as solution.
Anyway, 1 last question for you. I thought that VPN would make so that it seems I am in the US? Or it still recognizes that I am logging in from China?
I really don't know. It should work and it half did when you had proxies enabled. This is not really my field of expertise and I doubt that we can really talk about it here so lets just leave it at that.
This solution worked for me!
I opened internet explorer and went to the Origin website but did not login. I clicked the little gear wheel in the top right corner of the browser.
Click Internet Options
Click Security Tab
Click Trusted Sites
Click Sites in the little box
A window popped up & had the origin web address in the 'add this website to the zone' box.
Click Add
Click Close
