10 minutes or so is usually all it takes before it starts to happen if not sooner, and it's not just Caretaker, but all of them. The jumping issues seems to only occur when they communicate with each other, and this resetting issue i mentioned in the PM occurs when travelling or leaving the lot. I can't say what exact steps happen to cause the bug as when it was tested on the other system they were sort of just let to run things themselves (but after 10 times reloading with mods, without mods, regenerating the sim folder etc, i was tired of playing them., it's just a case of a group of people are talking and then they stop talking, flap their arms and drop whatever else they were doing, ie: a group of kids doing homework at the same table and chatting to each other.

Hi
So, we went backwards, found a save file that we believed to be uncorrupted, and we got a few weeks play, but for the past week or so, we've been going backwards daily, as the same bug continues to pop up.
In this little video, a father sim attempts to interact with his baby, and as you’ll be able to see, the action is never completed. (AKA, changing the diaper) while this vid is solely about the father and baby, it can happen between any sim.

The saving bug that I mentioned in an earlier post also continues to re-emerge as the jumping begins.
Any help would be much appreciated,
Thanks,
Anja

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/HOW-TO-DxDiag-for-Sims-3-PC-Only/td-p/1049584/
Please either use pastebin.com and put the link here or use spoiler tags.I had no issues with your save. I've let ir run for about 1 hour and no jumping
Hi,
Thanks for looking into this again. Here's the file you asked for 🙂

Your specs look good (certainly better than mine)
Only thing I see is that your hard drive space is a bit low. Do you have the game and user files on c ?
I'll forward your save to the CM and see if anyone can reproduce your issue,
Hi,
No, the saves go to the other drive. We've recently also looked at any possible mod issues and that hasn't helped either.
Not sure what to try next...

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
- Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
- Tray Folder
- Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
- Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
- Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
- Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
Hi,
This is something we've already tried, multiple times, but we will go do it again, since we've dealt with some mod conflicts, etc.... We even reinstalled the game completely and the computer.
We've even taken only the save files and implemented them into our other sims game with the problem continuing (with and without mods) as well as putting the save files from the non-problematic game into the other other computer without the issues developing.
I hope this makes sense...

I don't really have any other suggestions unfortunately.
