Re: TS4 won't launch, even after trying everything.

@gummytulips  Please uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and restart your computer before reinstalling the App.  Your dxdiag shows a pile of crashes of the Steam service that links to the EA App, but this is almost always an App issue, not Steam.

    I did as you said and the game began to reinstall. My computer is pretty slow so this might take a few hours. I'll see if this works. Thank you for your help so far.

    God's holy light shined down upon me and I saw the face of the omnipotent puzzlezaddict. The game launched. Thank you so much. Someone needs to pay you for this *.

    @puzzlezaddict I uninstalled it and reinstalled it five times, and it won't launch it keeps saying update is needed, and the it shows that its playing and the play button is grey but nothing launches....please help. Thank you for posting this.
