@steve1m1Are you sure you haven't change language on your keyboard?
You can easily change the input language of the keyboard by briefly pressing the CTRL key and the SHIFT key at the same time (CTRL + SHIFT). This switches between different input languages in Windows. On some laptops, like mine, you instead press Windows plus Space instead.
