@g83nsvplt670 Please go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete notify.glob. You should see the notifications one more time, but that's it.
If that doesn't help, please let me know whether any other changes aren't sticking, for example if you switch the game to windowed mode or change another graphics setting, does it stay after you quit, restart your computer, and load Sims 4 again?

hiiii! so i've tried this many times but it still doesnt work. instead, it gives me the welcome message for every single pack i own. and before you say to reopen the game, i have!

@g83nsvplt670 Again, are any other changes you try to make not sticking? For example, if you change a graphics setting, then quit and restart, is that setting still in place? There's a specific reason I'm asking: it would point to one particular cause if yes, but not that cause if no.
