Re: Why is TS4 overloading my PC?

Could be your graphics card isn't handling the game very well. The graphics card takes a lot of load from the CPU, so when that's not working your CPU will get stressed.

You could try updating your graphics card drivers, those are from early 2016. And let the GeForce Experience (you can download that from the Nvidia site) configure The Sims 4 for you.

Ok, I am currently updating my drivers with GeForce Experience, and I will get it to configure the Sims 4 for me. I will tell you if it works correctly. Thank you very much for the help.

I reduced my graphics settings to Low and updated my drivers. It now shows less stress on my CPU but my computer still kinda buzzes some when I'm in the game. Should I be worried or should I just ignore it?

@AceofCalicos I'm guessing the sound you are hearing is the fan on your video card which may run faster when using graphical games. If it is dusty it may be running slower then needed. When was the last time you checked all the fans to make sure they are free of dust and gunk (for lack of the better word). If the fans are dirty they will run harder and harder until they freeze and then something usually gets too hot and the computer shuts down or a component destructs. A computer should be checked at least once a year (more if you have real pests).

Make sure your computer can breath, make sure it has free space around the fan, and also give the fans a clean.

That might cause the weird sounds you hear.
