I have a new pc with an Nvidia GeForce 4070, and when I opened sims for the first time I got the notification for unrecognised video card when it loaded. I’ve seen others post with the same issue but I wasn’t clear on how to resolve it. It also said that it would cause lag if I tried to play with high graphics settings, and I’d like the resolution to be higher without shrinking the screen.
my dxdiag info is:
Operating System: Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd.
System Model: MS-7E06
BIOS: A.90
Processor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) 15-13600K (20 CPUs), ~3.5GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM
Page file: 14345MB used, 4758MB available
Direct Version: Direct 12
when I looked at the config file it said (found:0, supported:1).
is this something that can be fixed?

There is a way to get the computer to recognize your card. Please look up Sims 3 fixes by ACottonSock on YouTube. I used it on the Sims 4 program with an older computer I had and it works really great and it also tells you how to fix frame rates per second. You will be able to use all the best settings.
