Reinstalled game and it reset

Last week I uninstalled the Sims 4 and I went to reinstall it, and all my mods, tray, saves and other stuff is gone. I tried repairing it and using a data recovery service but I lost everythinh still. I need help

  • Stitchkyle​  Where was Sims 4 originally installed, if you know; and where is it installed now?  You can see the latter in the EA App, under Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.  The point is that the user data (saves, mods, etc.) is always stored in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.  But if the game is also installed to that location, uninstalling it could wipe your user files.  And installing to that location could also do so if the files are still present.

    For now, if you can't find the data on your computer, you could look on onedrive.com, in My Files and the Recycle Bin.  It's possible OneDrive synced some of your data on its own.  Other than that, there's really nowhere else to look, unfortunately.
