Repair Game option reverts game to its old version (1.121 -> 1.120)

Thanks for your patience, The Sims 4 update is rolling out now. If you haven't updated yet, please do.

If you started to update earlier, you may need to clear your cache to see the correct update. Instructions here: [INFO/GUIDE] How to clear the EA app cache (App Recovery)

After updating this evening, I get a message that the user directory data was created by a newer version of Sims 4 and so I should update the game.

However, I have the latest version of the game and it tells me to update via Origin which I believe doesn't even exist any more! Can anyone suggest anything please?
