@sigalita_y The message about requiring Sims 4 is standard and doesn't mean anything in this context considering you already own the base game (and it's free anyway). Are you sure that the purchase of Tiny Living went through? Does it say in-game that you own the pack or not?
Please also find out whether the pack is installed, and if so, where. Specifically, r a search for SP16 , which is the folder for Tiny Living. Open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, and enter SP16 in the search field in the upper-right corner. Wait for the search to finish, then make sure the full file path is showing under each result. If it's not, expand the window sideways as necessary. Take a screenshot using Windows key-shift-S and attach it to a reply here.
So im having the same issues as OP and i did what you explained, but ontop of that i also went to my sims 4 Folder, and i didnt see SP16 in there so i looked up SP16 and found it in my files and i copied the SP16 folder into sims 4 and tried restarting the game and i dont think it worked. Now as for your comment i couldnt see a "full file path" all i got was this
@sunsali1011 The Delta folder holds patch data, not the data from the pack itself. So please delete the copy of SP16 you placed directly in the Sims 4 folder. It's not going to fix anything and may prevent you from installing the pack in the future.
Are you missing Tiny Living, or some other pack? The EA App doesn't appear to think you even own Tiny Living, which is why I ask, and that's SP16.
I got it for free along with other packs and the other packs are installed as well as downloaded. The Tiny Living is supposed to be installed and says so in the "completed downloads" in the downloads manager. Here's a photo. I just used the repair option and it fixed it but it also said it "fixed realm of magic pack" which i assume must have been interfering with the pets but It Fixed the issue!
@sunsali1011 Great, let me know if you have any other issues.
I have a problem with the "my first pet" add on. It says that its installed but when I check the add on in my packs it says "requires the sims 4 and all game updates. see minimum system requirements for the pack." idk what to do.
@bophie_sophie Does the content show in-game? Keep in mind that some content will be missing if you don't also own Cats & Dogs, but at least look for the furniture.
yeah, it does show the furniture. does that mean I can't get a pet because I don't have the cats and dogs mod?
@bophie_sophie That's exactly what it means. The reason My First Pet Stuff has always been so unpopular is that it's basically DLC for another DLC (C&D), with much of the content inaccessible if you don't own both packs.
so when I go into my game after I uninstalled it but then reinstalled it on a new disk because my disk space was low,it says on my packs like island living, cats and dogs that I need the sims 4 and all game updates and it says I own it in game and have the latest update. Any solutions? It won’t let me add any photos because apparently my picture type is 5000k when the max is 3000k
