Romantic interactions always rejected unless married

Unfortunately, since the vampire sims pack (which I have installed) was launched, I can no longer romance any sims unless I first add them to my household AND change their status to married to my sim in CAS. 

If I try to use romance options in conversations with either vampires or normal sims, the other will disapprove no matter what. The little pink 'romance' bar will never appear. It is only when I manually add them to my household and put them as married via cas, that I can finally begin to romance them. Whether they are a best friend or a stranger, whether this takes place during the day or the night, or whether it happens in Forgotten Hollow or somewhere else - none of this makes any difference. I have tried this on two separate computers, one with absolutely no cc what so ever, and the issue prevails. 

It's quite frustrating cause it's a completely gameplay breaking bug :/ Have anyone else tried this? And could there be a solution? Repairing the game through Origin sadly appears to do nothing.

    Did you try the same save on two computers or try a new game on the second computer ?

    I tried a completely new save on both computers several times, just to see if it'd make a difference. Unfortunately it does not seem to do so ):

    I haven't had any issue before Patch 1.27 but haven't tried this since. Was that before the 02/02/2017 patch or is this newer ?

    Yes, this happened right from the day I installed the vampire game pack and played it the first time, which was on the 25/01/2017. Patch 1.27 seemed to make no difference in regard to that, at the very least.

    I'll put it on my list to test and ask around.

    Usually I would ask for a save but since you say it's not related to a save, that might be a bit fruitless

    Since it's happened regardless of how many times I start over with a completely new save, I doubt it is related. Still, if you'd like a save I'll be happy to provide it with you.

    I'll do some testing tomorrow although I know it worked for me cause I have two vampires now happily living together.

    You didn't move any files from one computer to the other right ? Just installed them and then started a new game ?

    No file exchange between the two computers at all. Nor have there, at least on the second computer, ever been installed any cc at all. I merely installed the game and started playing it from completely new - only to encounter the same bug as I had on my main pc. 

    I've just tried to completely wipe the game off my secondary computer and then reinstall the game again with a completely fresh, new world and save. Unfortunate it changed nothing.

    It's so weird. I haven't found anyone else that has the same issue and mine are fine as well

    I'm a but sick atm so I can't really do extensive testing but I'll try when I'm better

    So I tested my game with a new couple that didn't know each other and had no issues.

    Could you post a video of what happens in your game ? 

    I assume you have tried with a bunch of Sims with non-related traits and stuff ?
