Romantic satisfaction glitching

My sim has been dating someone and things were going great and they were both very satisfied. Then all the sudden with romantic interactions they'll gain romance, my sim will gain romantic satisfaction, but the sim she's dating will get double negative satisfaction and she is very unsatisfied in the relationship. I'm not sure what happened, and it's consistently every time I choose a romantic interaction. I don't use mods or CC.
