Save and play button

Hello, i have a problem after creating a new household and pressing the button save and play the screen freeze and nothing happens after that i cant even exit the game without using the X on the top , as in the picture below 

crashing

    I'm having the exact same issue! It also won't let me save the sim I made to my library because I "don't have a stable Internet connection," even though my Internet is on and working with literally everything else on my laptop. I really hope someone can figure this out because when I try to find fixes they're all for fixing the game not launching. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game and it didn't fix it 😭

    meriemsdi​  That's fine and what it should be.  So please check your antivirus program for any recent actions involving Sims 4.  Even Windows Defender can be an issue.  Yesterday's problem notwithstanding (and it was fixed about 10 hours ago with an emergency patch), Defender's Controlled Folder Access can block the game from writing to Documents, which would prevent you from saving the sim you made.  Here's how to check CFA settings:

    I don’t really understand so i should go on Allow an app through Controlled folder access and add the sims 4 ? 
    if yes i should just add the file sims 4?
