Save not working

I just updated my sims 4 game today to the most recent update. I've been having issues saving it all day as it constantly keeps loading anytime I try to save while I'm in build mode. I've had to restart my computer (7 times) entirely just to get out of the game as nothing would work to get me out of the app (on PC). This most recent time I was able to save while in build mode with no problems for about 40 minutes until I put some clutter down in a bedroom and tried to save again. The screen proceeded to have the loading symbol and I couldn't exit out the game and had to turn my computer off. 

I have already checked my tray, my mod folder, etc. to find out if it's a mod issue and nothing. 

Any help on what I can do to prevent this from happening every time I place clutter would be greatly appreciated.

    Yeah honestly this was my first time playing in over a month too and I was scared to update because my gallery had already been messing up since the past update and would give me error messages anytime I tried to save or place lots. I haven't bought any new packs since last year. It honestly just hasn't been worth it considering all of the bugs and crashing I keep encountering in the game. At one point it was just unplayable for me and I cleared my mods and tray and wiped everything but its frustrating that even after that the game still doesn't work!!!

    Honestly same. Nothing has been helping at all. The clutter I use is typically in game stuff that isn't CC and it won't let me save it at all!! I've just stopped using the clutter altogether in hopes that they'll fix whatever the problem is during the next update.

    I'm having the exact same issue with my game. I've repaired my game multiple times and updated my mods, but the issue keeps happening. It's super frustrating, and honestly makes me a bit anxious to do anything in build mode, worried that my progress won't get saved, because of this. I haven't yet found a solution to this issue.

    I had a similar issue today, after not playing for over a month due to all the problems. Complete reinstall, no mods, just opened the game, tried to build a lot; first it wouldn't save, just reverted when I went back in. Then I tried to save and got an error code. Then the whole game locked up, and I had to Control-Alt-Delete and go to Task Manager to close the game. They want us to buy packs and buy Marketplace. Why? I can't even play, so why would I buy anything? I just want the game to work. Guess I'll just go play something else and hope they fix it.
