Saves & Mods Not loading after local file transfer

BreadInFrench The location on D you've listed is where the game's program files are located, not the user data, which is always in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. These two folders should never be combined. So if you want your saves and other user data on D, create a different folder there.
To actually get the game to use the new folder on D, you'll need to create a symbolic link. Here's how:
Since your game is using the folder in OneDrive though, the first part of the command will be this:
MKLINK /J "C:\Users\[your username]\OneDrive\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4"
with your actual username in place, of course. Or you could get rid of OneDrive and move Documents back to its usual place; if you're interested, how to do so is covered in the first post of this thread:
