Game freezes on interaction menu

Question

Since the latest update, my game freezes if I do any actions that require the pop-up menu that has you select additional sims, such as travel, sit with, or invite.

For instance, if I have the romantic blanket down and want to have another sim sit with mine, the window (see photo) pops up. It will show available sims as usual, but the rest of the menu is blank, and clicking sims for the action does nothing. I cannot click out of the menu or close it with Esc. It freezes my game and I have to force close, losing any progress. I have done this multiple times with no success.

I have resetting mods on/off in the main menu, but I've been running mods when I play due to the CC used in this particular file (my only active family) and I'm afraid to turn them off completely due to the risk of file corruption.

LycheeBeetleBard​&nbsp; Please remove your Mods folder and test a new save.&nbsp; If it helps, test your main save with the Mods folder still removed.&nbsp; You don't need to save your progress, and not saving means your save won't be damaged by the missing mods and cc.&nbsp; But it's important to find out whether this helps.
I've seen enough reports of mods still affecting the game when script mods are disabled to know that it's critical to actually remove the Mods folder, or everything inside it.
