Saves and mods aren't loading after moving to D drive
Because I was running out of space on my C drive, I moved all my Sims 4 stuff (Origin Games and Documents/Electronic Arts) to my D drive, which has way more space. I followed a tutorial on doing this correctly, but when I opened the Sims 4, it was like I'd never played before. My saves and mods/CC aren't loading in despite showing up in the Documents/Electronic Arts folder. I've tried making a new Sim and then clicking on Load Game, but my saves don't show up there and my mods/CC aren't loading in at all. I've also tried a couple other fixes that did nothing. How do I get my saves and mods back? It doesn't make sense for them to not be loading, because they show up in my folders and I changed the directory of the Sims 4 in Install/Saves. Do I have to move everything back to my C drive and maybe it will load in again and I'll just have to find a way to get more space on my C drive? I'd really like to keep it on my D drive, as it has loads of space and I have a hefty Electronic Arts folder. If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me how. I am really upset because I was so attached to my households and I normally use a lot of mods and CC. ☹️
