I have also noticed this issue occasionally, for me it has only ever been at the Goths house, at least as far as I can recall. Always the master bathroom door. Strange thing is they could go into the bathroom just fine, but they could never leave. I think I even rearranged the layout of the bathroom to try and solve it and still would encounter this issue occasionally at random. Even tried the door replacement. Nope.
I don't have a solution for this. Just wanted to voice that I too have encountered this issue.
Not currently playing with the family I have living in the Goth's house, so do not know if that issue is still an issue.
