Sim wont have baby at hospital

So i was playing the sims as you do, my sim went into labor, sent her to the hospital (using get to work) and when she got there she just wouldnt check in or go and have her baby, the pop up that say...

@friendsfanatic20 Did you click on the desk to check her in ? That sometimes helps

Did you edit your lot in any way ?

I did click on the desk to check her in, alot of times.

and no i didnt edit the lot at all, i can never be bothered with that.

        @friendsfanatic20 It's possible it's a conflict with the career.
