Sims 4 - No product code

Hello to whoever reads this, 

        I unfortunately have no product code and i'm very confused. I bought the Sims 4 after completing the trial, it was fun and nothing went wrong. After buying the Sims 4 I closed out of origin and then launched it back up. As soon as i relaunched origin I was greeted with a popup that read " Unidentified game" it was the Sims game I just downloaded so I was just like, oh okay? It said I needed a product code and to check my email, it would be in the receipt and in a box manual. I went to check my email and I have the email, but inside there is no product code, no box manual. The receipt just states that I bought it and nothing else. I was confused and I thought maybe i'm going blind or i'm just dumb, so i refreshed everything went back to check and it still wasn't there. Everything keeps saying to just check an email, but it's not there? So, I really don't know what to do and I really don't want to not be able to play a game that I spent $21 on, i'm broke.

Ps. Yes I log into my EA account with my email, not my username. The Sims 4 shows up in my billing but I cant download it w/o the product code. Everything is completely fine I just don't have a product code.

  • @ToxTox7044  The error message you're seeing is misleading.  You don't need to enter a product code; you need to be signed into an account that owns Sims 4.  When you're using an account that doesn't own a game you're trying to launch, Origin throws this error.  (The product codes are still relevant for older games, just not Sims 4.)

    If you're sure you're in fact using the correct account, I'd suggest contacting EA customer support to make sure the purchase went through and the game is technically on your account.
