Sims 4 automatically uninstalls itself the next day

I am so tired of constantly installing and uninstalling my sims 4 game on my pc. Every installation takes about an hour + including expansion packs and other packs that I have. Recently I started playing again and after I turn off my pc to go to bed at night, the next morning my app either uninstalled itself from my pc or it only opens to the 34 bit version, without my Discover University pack and loaded games. When i uninstall the game and reinstall it via Origin, everything works well until I power off my laptop and then it's gone again the next day. Please help, I am so close to just forgetting that this game ever existed. It's too much of a hassle to play with all these technical issues. Thanks in advance.

  • @rachelavery26  It sounds like your antivirus might be blocking or even deleting TS4_x64.exe, which runs the 64-bit version.  It may be enough to simply set exceptions for that .exe and Origin.exe, at least once you've repaired or reinstalled and all the files are back.  But if not, please let me know what antivirus you use.

@puzzlezaddict I have just had the same happening to me, it was there and working perfectly fine at 1:30am however turned PC on this morning at 10am and it had been uninstalled and no trace whatsoever that it was even on there apart from on origin where it kept telling me that “one or more files had been removed” when I went to play from there. I then got the same message when I tried to repair it so I have uninstalled it on origin and started reinstalling it, so hopefully that will be it. You mentioned antivirus however I had already made exceptions on it for sims 4 and origin when I upgraded my PC in January so it shouldn’t have been that blocking it. Fingers are crossed that after reinstalling it won’t have anymore issues with it uninstalling itself (Here’s hoping!)
