Sims 4 (base game) no households will load on any save
I just got a new laptop, (hp omnibook with the snap dragon x elite), and I was told it could run the sims 4. I downloaded the sims 4, (base game only), and can load it up, create a sim, and pick a lot to start my household on; however, when loading into the household, the loading screen stays up frozen on a tip, but I can hear the game loaded, and my sim moving around autonomously, but the screen is frozen on the loading plumbob. The only way I am able to close out of the game is either by task manager, or hitting esc and something else a few times and it closes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game a few times and nothing works. I don't ever get an option to repair the game either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just wanna know if it's something I can fix somehow, or if I was sold a laptop that cannot run the sims 4?
@MercurysComet I'm not sure how well your laptop can run Sims 4. It has an ARM processor that needs a translation layer to run games compiled for x86 (Intel and AMD CPUs), and while that translation layer is supposed to be great in general, that doesn't mean that it works well for this game. You're only the second person to ask on this site, so I just don't have enough data.
At any rate, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Please also let me know whether you can play in DirectX 11 mode rather than the default DirectX 9. Here's how to switch:
