Sims 4 black screen when selecting anything in build/buy

Everytime I select anything in build/buy the screen goes black. If I tab to the desktop and then back the screen will be back but anytime I click anything including options or switching to live mode ...

SOLVE: Press ALT + SHIFT + PRINT to go to the "Contrast Windows Mode", helped for me =)

I'm usin Win 8.1
