Sims 4 black screen when selecting anything in build/buy

Everytime I select anything in build/buy the screen goes black. If I tab to the desktop and then back the screen will be back but anytime I click anything including options or switching to live mode ...

What sims 4 launcher like the icon on the desktop? if not where do you find ts4.exe and sim4launcher.exe

You'll find ts4.exe under the folder "The Sims 4\Game\Bin" where ever you installed it. sims4launcher.exe will only be there if you downloaded an illegal copy of the game, and will be in the same place.
