Sims 4 Cats and Dogs pre-order refund yet no money returned.

Went through EAs Help in order to get a refund on Sims 4 Cats and Dogs dlc that I pre-ordered. Reasons for the refund is because I couldn't download it due to error messages and just plain not downloadable. So I got it all sorted and found that my refund was completed later today. Problem is I didn't get my money back.

I would like to know if I have to wait longer in order for my money to return or if this is a technical issue. Or EA just trying rip me off like it's been doing to everyone as of late.

  • This sounds more like an account issue or a bank issue. If you're still waiting on a refund, you may need to check your bank account frequently over the next few days or so.

    If you don't receive your refund, check your account first to see if there's anything a miss there. You may want to contact EA's Customer Service to see if they can do anything.

    @172e3cda00349872  The refund may have been entered but it may take a few days (at least 24 hours) to see it in your online statement. If the refund hits your financial institution after a certain time it will probably take another 24 hours to show up. What this means is it may take 24 hours for EA to process the refund and another 24 hours to 48 hours to appear in your statement online. You will not see the refund the same day they say they'll give it to you (they sure take your money fast enough don't they).   hth

    Please, don't worry, if the refund shows as complete, you should get your money back in up to 10 days. If you don't receive it by then, please, contact our advisors at EA Help as @172e3cda00349872 suggested.

  • Also its not a bank issue as I used a origin card and pre-ordered cat and dogs dlc as well as bought the sims 4. You clearly have issues with players and their pre-orders. Don't do pre-orders if you can't handle your pre-order accounting/billing issues.
