sims 4 cc furniture

i’ve been downloading houses off of the sims resource and and my folders are correct as i have no sub folders in my tray folder but for some reason when i download the house the furniture that was cc and in the house doesn’t appear and is substituted by base game furniture and i’m wondering why my cc furniture doesn’t load with the house. anyone know why this is and how to fix it.???

    You need to download that CC as well. You should read the install instructions where you got it.

    i’ve also tried downloading a set of furniture and put it in the tray folder and it doesn’t show. should this be put in the mods folder or what? and when i download the house i should read the bottom and download those things as well?

    You need to read the install instructions. If the furniture is in a *.package file it goes in the Mods folder.
