Sims 4 Code already redeemed.

HI,

First I want to say is that I am trying to speak with someone from EA however the last support chat was about 2 mins and the person did not even wait for my response. I would Appreciate if someone can talk to me. I have the following Issue.

Installed Sims 4 to my sister's laptop with her child account with the brand new disc I purchased as a present. No issues for two days, playable - Everyone is happy.Had to reinstall Origin and the game as I had update/windows issues with the game platform. Installing the platform, Trying to install the game and then a message pops up to confirm that the code I was redeeming was under the child account for my sister. I click yes and then amber letters underneath the code saying "This Code is already redeemed". I cannot install the game now. Failed Christmas present. What do I do?

  • @Vakemelio  Once you've added Sims 4 to an account, it's tied to that account, and you shouldn't need to input the code again to download or play.  In fact, the code won't work a second time, even on the same account.  Are you sure you're using the same account credentials as you did when you first registered the game for your sister?  Was it on her account and not yours or a parent's?

    If this isn't the issue, then yes, you'll need to contact EA customer support to get things sorted out.  If chat isn't working for you, try using Facebook or Twitter.  Here are the links:
