Sims 4 code not working

I just bought Sims 4 used and the code is not working. It just says "the product code you entered is not valid. And I don't know what to do.

    @Juuliazz Unfortunately, codes are tied to the account they are first redeemed on an that can't be changed.

    It's best to get a refund from where ever you bought it.
