Sims 4 Cottage Living doesn't work

Hi, 

I've bought the expansion pack yesterday, and have downloaded it. On my EA app it shows that it has been installed. However when I open my Sims, i can see the Henford-on-Bagley world, but I can't enter it. It says that I have to restart the Sims app before I can start playing. I have tried this plenty of times but it still doesn't work. I've even deleted the cache on the EA app, I tried the app recovery, I tried restarting my laptop, even reinstalling the EA app and reinstalling the expansion pack, but nothing seems to work and it's very frustrating. What am I supposed to do?

    Hello!

    on 11/22 I saw that the sims was have their big sale on expansion packs so I went ahead and bought Cats and Dogs and Get to Work. I purchased them through the EA app and it said downloaded for both packs so I go to open the game and when I'm looking at the different worlds I have they say I have to wait until they are finished downloading. I waited and left it open for a whole day and NOTHING! I clicked repair and went back in and nothing changed. I downloaded and redownloaded the packs too. I went and cleared my cache and nothing changed. It just says I need to restart or wait until it's done downloading.

    I don't know what else to do and I'm afraid I wasted my money so if I can't get this fixed soon I want my money back. Any tips to help or to fix it? It's starting to feel like this is more hassle then it's worth....

    @althee_nectar  Do CAS and Build/Buy items from Cottage Living show up?  Please check, and don't rely on filters; look for a specific item you know belongs to the pack, for example the chicken coop.

    If the items do show up in your game, this is likely a mod-related issue, so please remove your Mods folder and test.  If HonB shows up, you can use the 50/50 method to sort through your mods and custom content.

    Hi, thank you so so much! It worked, I now can enter the world. But when I want to try the clothing from the pack, my sims turn red and white with question marks. Do you perhaps know how I can fix this?
