Hi
My sims 4 keeps crashing when clicking on custom content box in gallery, it does this from opening gallery at the home screen before loading/creating a new game. Also does this in CAS of an existing game.

Yes ive just tried that, no success.
Mods and cc are already enabled, i just go to the game as per normal and go to CAS, go to the gallery, click on my library and then my households, then i also click to include custom content households and then it crashes.
I have tried this like 4 or 5 times, haven't ever experienced a problem like this before.

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
