Sims 4 game keeps crashing randomly

Thank you for the suggestions. I updated the BIOS, disabled the turbo boost and also disabled Teams from running on start-up. Unfortunately, the early returns are not promising. I've had three crashes this afternoon, two at the main menu, before I was able to select a save game to play. The third attempt was more successful, but still crashed after a little over an hour. All three crashes listed python37_x64.dll as the faulting module.

I did notice when checking the Reliability Monitor that Microsoft Teams Updater was encountering application failures, even with Teams disabled. I've uninstalled Teams (I wasn't using it anyway); hopefully that will put an end to those particular events.
