Sims 4 game won't launch after update
Good evening, I'm hoping someone can help me. I did the required update for the Sims tonight and the update just suddenly stopped and said that there was an unforeseen error. I tried to play offline but the game just won't launch AT ALL. I did an app recovery, cleared the cache, restarted my computer and still nothing. EA Help says they will report this anomaly and someone may be in touch, but it really doesn't fill me with hope. Anyone else come across this or a possible fix? Any help is appreciated, I'm not very tech savvy so my knowledge is limited.
@HookedOnSims Please try repairing the game: open your EA App game library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > Repair.
If the repair goes through, try to play. If it doesn't, please uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), restart your computer, reinstall the App, and try again to repair.
