mustbethesims4​  Neither is a bad choice, exactly, but they're not as good as the one I linked or as others in your price range.  The RTX 2050 in the MSI is significantly slower than an RTX 3050, to the point that you might not be able to play on ultra graphics settings (depending on your play style and how smooth you want the game to be).  The 6550M in the Victus is slightly faster than a 3050, but this model only has 8 GB memory, which is less than ideal.  Sure, you can upgrade it, but paying someone to do the upgrade would usually cost significantly more than finding a laptop with 16 GB already installed.  So unless you're comfortable doing it yourself or have a friend who can help, I'd pass.

If you're going to buy next week, then it would be best to check prices next week.  There's almost always something on sale, but that changes quickly, and some items get sold out.  So while you can safely assume that 900 CAD is sufficient, I can't tell you what the best option will be even a week from now.
