mama1014 Please update the Nvidia graphics driver. You can get the newest version here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/
Choose GeForce, 30-series (laptops), 3050 ti, Windows 11, and download the Game Ready Driver. Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer afterwards and before doing anything else.
Please also tell the game to use the Nvidia GPU. Right-click your desktop and open the Nvidia Control Panel, select Manage 3D Settings > Global settings, and choose the high-performance Nvidia processor. If this works, when you load the game to the Main Menu, you should see DX11 after the version number in the lower-right corner. If you see DX9, let me know.
If this helps, you can revert the Control Panel's global setting and use program settings instead, for both TS4_x64 and TS4_Launcher_x64. But please try the global setting first, and if you switch to the program setting, double-check (at the Main Menu) that the game is still running in DirectX 11 mode.

I'm sorry to bother you again. The issue has recurred after playing for a few hours. I was completing the errands for Sara Scott and Kim Goldbloom and went to go to my home lot and got stuck on the load screen. The original issue began with the same errands. I don't know if it's related...
I had to use the task manager to exit the game, and when I resumed I experienced the same thing and had to exit as before. I tried going to other lots after I loaded the save again and was able to, but again got stuck on the load screen when I tried to send my sim home. I still see DX11 on the main menu, I did not revert the control panel's global setting
I'm not sure what to do now :(
