Sims 4 glitch after today's update! It won't stop skipping!

Every time I load the Sims 4, once it reaches the first loading screen, everything starts to skip. 

I just sit there forever and nothing changes. Even when I click X and get the "Exit game" box, it is shaking like crazy. The game is incapable of starting. This is really upsetting, I just want to play the game I spent 80 dollars + on (premium edition) So what can I do?

    Well, this glitch happened to me but I think it's a little different. It says I have to update The Sims 4, which I have already done... It just keeps popping up and I can't play until I update it. Is this because there are multiple updates? I don't know! <_> ( Sorry if this is off topic, just saying what's happening e3e" )
