Sims 4 Greyed out

Question

My sims is greyed out in the launcher stating access through steam, except I DON'T. I had long ago purchased it from ea. I've never seen this kind of issue before. I literally just installed high school years a week or so ago. I'm able to launch my game from my desktop but this really concerns me for getting updates.

Madcapp&nbsp; Have you ever played Sims 4 through Steam, or bought (or claimed for free) any content through Steam?&nbsp; Are your Steam and EA accounts currently linked?
