sims 4 how to restore previous backup of save file can anybody help me please

Hello I need help to restore previous backup of same save file can anybody help me since in game restore save back up restores recent backup of save I tried manual way to doing by renaming .Ver file but the file I restore also showing weeks ago before .Ver extension so did I accidently restored OneDrive backup file I am little confused can anybody please help me and I just forgot mention that I am launching sims 4 from steam because I have bought from steam.

Anonymous Do you still need help? If so, I really need to see the file names and dates so I can figure out what's going on here. But if you're fine now, there's no need.

With the previous patch (not yesterday, the last one), the game started keeping older saves as extra backups, ones from a day/week/month prior I believe. This doesn't have anything to do with OneDrive. The saves can be restored the same way the usual .verx saves are restored; there's nothing special about them other than how they're named.

Anonymous Please post a screenshot of contents of the saves folder, as in, I'd like to see the file dates and sizes. Sort by modified date so the newest files are at the top. You can use Windows key-shift-S to capture that portion of the screen; don't just take a photo with your phone.

Additionally, let me know how old the save is that you'd like to restore, and also list the save(s) you've renamed. Or you can highlight them by holding the ctrl key while clicking each one.

Thank you for reply I was able to rename save file s previous backup in saves folder by deleting. Ver extension it loaded successfully yesterday in game I just wanted to know was it from OneDrive backup because before renaming save game's previous backup file was showing save game number and weeks ago with .ver extension one file.
