Sims 4 intermittent lag
Hello there, I've been getting what I think is the same or similar issues, regarding the lagging and stuttering during game play. I've gone through this thread over the past couple days trying the various suggestions in here. I've started a completely fresh save, without the mods folder (put it on the desktop) the only custom stuff is some clothes. Tried playing in offline mode, have tried lowering the games graphics, done repairs, and shut down all my extra programs that I'd normally having running when I was playing. Double checked graphic card drivers, found it needed an update, went through that.
I notice sometimes the spikes seem to hit most frequently when there is a notification in game, about either an event starting, or a sim calling to ask something. Have tried small lots and large lots, homes with just base game stuff (Willow Creak starter homes).
This started within I think 4-5 days ago, maybe less, defiantly within the time between event updates. The game isn't completely unplayable, just gets stuck every few mins, and hangs up, then speeds up to catch up with whatever the sims were doing when it hung for a little bit. The stops only last a minute at most, often less than a min, say around 20-30 seconds is the average.
I didn't try a fresh install yet, but have run two repairs so far.
I've attached my dxdiag below, I couldn't see anything in it myself, but I'm most likely missing something.
thank you for your time in helping me sort out what is going on.
RavenDreams This dxdiag is readable, not sure what happened to the first one. I have a few suggestions you can try in any order, although I'll list them in the order I'd use if it were my system.
Try uninstalling Razer's Game Manager Service, and if that doesn't help, any other Razer apps you have.
Try playing in windowed mode.
Unplug your Sony TV, with the computer turned off, and try playing with only the second monitor.
Try setting your user DPI scaling to 96 (100%) rather than its current 144 (150%). Here's how:

Test with your antivirus completely disabled. As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe.
If one of these works but you don't like the results, let me know anyway and we can try to work around the problem.
