Deleted the cache and sill had no change.
I deleted all of the non played, not in world households and that fixed the problem for a while but then the game generated new ones and I'm back to the same issue again. Is there any way to set a population limit or something to keep this from happening without having to mess with the other sims in the neighborhood's progressing? I mean the game generatedmore than 100 not played, out of world sims and it's a little frustrating to keep having to go back in an delete them everytime the game starts with the crashing again 😕mileyfrustrated:
I don't think so.
Wonder why it's an issue for some and not for others. Might be one outfit your SIms keep spawning in.
I don't really have another solution at this point. Maybe add your voice to the thread.

I'm still having the problem after trying numerous "fixes" including just saving every 5 seconds (which doesn't help when the game crashes when you save, too. There is no special time of day, no special day. I have absolutely no custom content, cleared my cache... I'm out of ideas, but I could not get through more than 10 Sim hours without crashing. This morning I've been playing for about 2 hours, trying to play, and have crashed 5 times.
